*General Summary*
Under the supervision of the Senior Nutrition Manager, and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the company and local, state and federal laws, this position delivers meals to home delivery clients following a regular route and schedule in a safe and courteous while doing a safety check.

*Essential Function and Duties*
· Ability to tactfully and courteously meet and assist the public; promote good client relations; maintain a clean, neat appearance and pleasant disposition; and possess the ability to make a sound judgment in a crisis situation; and effectively communicate client concerns in a timely manner.
· Responsible for reporting all accidents/incidents, and completes appropriate written reports.

· Responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicle during shift.
· Mandated reporter of abused and neglected vulnerable adults by submitting report to Adult Protective Services.

· Must be neat and professional in appearance and work habits.
· Load meals at the kitchens and/or warehouse.
· Accurately obtain and deliver confidential donations and related paperwork.
· Responsible for operating vehicle in a safe manner, using defensive driving techniques and maintaining on-time schedule.
· Communicates with the office or Supervisor concerning equipment and/or meals.
· Must maintain all required certifications and attend meetings/training sessions when scheduled.
· Ability to accurately implement delivery schedule.

*Educational/Work Experience Requirements*
· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and one year related food service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
· Must be over the age of 21.

*Other Requirements*
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
· Proof of personal vehicle insurance.
· Valid WA State driver’s license.
· Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen and a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks, Credit check if applicable and other required documents.
· Current Health Department Food Handlers Permit.

· Ability to listen for emergency sirens and vehicle malfunctions.
· Ability to walk, climb, stand, kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, reach, push, pull, grasp, talk, hear, see, and repetitive motions.
· Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Some positions may require heavier work.
· Ability to drive vehicles specific to the Senior Nutrition Program.
