Diamond Line Delivery Systems is seeking a Full-Time driver position to transport and deliver freight by driving tractor trailer combinations short distances and/or long distances.
Eligibility requirements:
· Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s Licenses.
· Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
· Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
· Must have good oral communication skills.
· Must be able to follow instructions and take directions via ELD or phone.
· Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
· Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of hazardous materials.
· Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.
S.
Dept.
of Transportation.
· Must satisfactorily pass a drug test.
· Must satisfactorily pass an alcohol test.
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 21 years old
· Speak, write, and otherwise effectively communicate.
· Class A CDL license with Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles / Triples endorsement Preferred.
· Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Ability to do physical labor.
· Ability to accurately record relevant freight information on bill of lading.
· Forklift experience helpful
· Computer skills helpful
