Class A CDL Instructor

CDL Class Instructor/Driver Responsibilities: * Conduct demonstrations of driving operations to students.
* Instruct/Ensure that all students are operating equipment safely and in compliance with DMV requirements.
* Supervision of assigned student documentation, assignments, attendance, and training records.
* Administration of skills evaluations * 1.
Pre trip inspections * 2.
Basic driving controls * 3.
Road driving Requirements * Must possess a valid Class A CDL * Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over the road (OTR) or local driving experience * Must have the ability to effectively communicate with others using oral and written skills.
* Must have the intellectual and leadership abilities to provide over-the-road, basic skills, and classroom instruction.
* Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) * Must be reliable and dependable.
* Must be willing to haul loads as needed.
