* *This is a federal position located at Fort Simcoe Job Corps Center.
* *Duties* * Conduct initial individual interviews with students for the purpose of determining needs assessment inventories.
* Selects an appropriate combination of standard objective tests, administers, and scores the tests.
* Provides counseling to students in establishing career goals, investigating available educational and training opportunities, and helps the student make appropriate plans.
* Maintains a professional and timely counseling file on each student assigned.
* Conducts group counseling in structured group sessions.
* Participates in the coordination of the Mental Health program and meets regularly with the mental health consultant to discuss diagnosis, intervention, and provide behavior modification counseling to students identified as "at risk.
