Job Summary The Department of Biological Sciences at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future full and part-time, lecturer positions to teach classes in the courses/subject areas listed below.
This list is not all inclusive: other courses/subject areas may become available within the Biological Sciences department and within the Craft Brewing program.
- BIOL 101 – Fundamentals of Biology (non-major) - BIOL 181 – General Biology I (major) - BIOL 182 – General Biology II (major) - BIOL 183 – General Biology III (major) - BIOL 201 – Human Physiology (non-major) - BIOL 302 – Human Ecology (non-major) - BIOL305 - Human Anatomy & Physiology for Health Majors I - BIOL 306 - Human Anatomy & Physiology for Health Majors II - BIOL 322- Introductory Microbiology (non-major) - BIOL 360 – General Ecology (major) Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in Biology or a related field.

University teaching experience Pay & Work Schedule Based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement: https://www.

edu/hr/labor-relations/ufc The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2022-2023 academic year will be as follows: (a) Lecturer: $1,110 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $887 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
(b) Senior Lecturer: $1,221 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $975 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
Applicable Centers/Sites: Ellensburg (main campus) Additional Information: This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in the department of Biological Sciences through March 2024.
There is a possibility that selected applicants may be called on short notice to fill lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis.
Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed.
The number of lecturer positions filled varies from quarter to quarter, depending upon the needs of the department.
Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter.
Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2024.
