These AmeriCorps national service positions will serve 40 hours per week Monday – Friday in person during school hours, after school, possible evening events, and during some school breaks.
The anticipated service term is January/February 2024 through July/August 2024.
The Academic Improvement Tutor positions provide comprehensive academic support at both elementary and secondary schools.
There are two total positions available serving at the following schools -
-- Harrah Elementary
-- Mt.
Adams Middle School
These positions are a good fit for people who -

-- Are US citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent resident aliens.
What you'll be doing -
-- Tutor students in a school setting under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
-- Lead afterschool and enrichment activities to support academic success.
-- Provide academic support in classrooms as needed.
-- Conduct check-in meetings with students who need academic success coaching.
-- Organize learning materials and maintain student contact logs/records.

-- Monthly stipend of $2,380.
