*SUMMARY:*
This Full-time position will assist with daily operations in the Community or at a facility.
This person will provide support for Community Engagement members in the form of assisting with classes and oversight of recreational activities both in the facility and in the community.
This position requires that the person be willing to invest in the enrichment of people’s lives through training, recreation and community involvement.

Preferred experience working with persons with disabilities.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Develop and implement skills and behavior to participate · Maintain a caseload, track established goals for participants.
Comprehend participant’s needs and goals.
Monitor and provide assessments, and evaluations.
· Document activities into progress reports, case notes, and monthly and quarterly reports.
· Mentor participant to learn how to properly perform activities, redirect as needed to ensure participant is learning.
· Record and monitor individual Program Participant’s productivity.
· May assist participant with personal hygiene.
· Encourage participant to eliminate barriers that may prevent them from being active in the community or obtaining employment.
Work to identify behavioral, emotional, hygienic or personal problems.
· Act as a liaison between MRJN Associates and other parties to ensure participant’s needs are being met.
Maintain regular contact with transportation and care providers.
· Develop communication structure with facility where work is being performed to ensure consistent expectations, quality, production needs and complaints.
*OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Organize work areas to ensure a safe work environment.
· Provide client and other staff members with current trainings, on safety and proper evacuation procedures.
· Follow proper evacuation procedures during emergencies.
· Perform simple first-aid as needed.
· Ability to take on new assignments or cover other assignments as needed.
*QUALIFICATIONS* o Ability to write accurate information into progress reports and daily case notes.
o Perform vocational assessments o Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals regarding difficult or sensitive issues o Transport people with disabilities to and from Community sites o Ability to read, and interpret documents such as Individual Program Plans, Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
o Ability to speak effectively to clients, care providers, and customers o Ability to be a team player and offer support as needed to fellow workers o Ability to problem solve, work independently and deal with numerous of situations when a supervisor is not available.
o Ability to interpret a numerous of instructions furnished in written oral, illustration or schedule form.
o Recording all necessary information o Ability to complete work in a good timely manner.
o Ability to Training skills to individuals o Ability to provide a Schedule daily activity.
o *OTHER REQUIREMENTS* · Current First Aid/CPR certification · Valid and current Washington State Driver’s license · Proof of automobile insurance · Ability to pass the Washington State Criminal Background Check · Ability to type The position also requires you to have access to internet on your phone so you can clock in and out on a daily basis.
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES* Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.
They are usually obtained by possessing the following education and experience: High School diploma or GED required, 1 year working with people with disabilities.
*LANGUAGE SKILLS* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to support in the development of training plans for program clients.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to advocate and demonstrate effectiveness to customers or employees of the organization.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS* The physical demands described here are to be met by an employee to successfully perform their essential job duties.
· Occasionally climb or balance.
Lift up to 25 pounds, frequently carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
· Travel from site to site to work with multiple individuals, and occasionally transport them out of the vehicle to wheelchairs or other related disability equipment, with the assistance of a lift of two persons.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.
