TISS Training Coordinator

The training coordinator is responsible for working with the TISS (School Based Trauma-Informed Support Services) grant project director to develop and implement the TISS training plan for educators in schools in all partnering districts including training on interventions and oversight of implementation.
The training coordinator will help us ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events and special projects in our company.
Your duties will include managing٫ designing٫ developing٫ coordinating and conducting large- or small-scale training programs.
Examples of Work Performed:
Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel from all partnering school districts and with community, family, and youth representatives.
Research trauma-informed and evidence-based mental health trainings for Native students and their families.
Work with partnering districts to understand Native students needs and select and implement targeted social and emotional learning curriculums to meet these needs.
Work with the project director and partnering districts to develop and implement the TISS training plan.
Organize and/or lead trainings identified in the training plan.
Track training implementation progress.
Report activities on weekly activity report.
Evaluate and identify employees training needs and identify weaknesses.
Make other trainer's schedules.
Create training schedules for all school districts and agency/department needs, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous trainings to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
Recruit and train new Trainers, delegate training tasks to the new Trainers and evaluate performance.
Build quarterly and annual training program.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.
Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.
High level of organization since training coordinators need to schedule and prepare training sessions across school districts and agency needs.
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
Significant experience with learning management systems and web delivery tools.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues that arise during training programs and assist employees who need additional support.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
Exercise reliability to gain and maintain trust and support productive work practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or social work.
Teaching certification preferred.
A minimum of two years experience training educators, behavioral health professionals and community providers on SEL curriculums and behavioral health interventions.
Five years of working with Tribal Systems with a proven history of collaborative work.
Job experience that reflects the ability to work with both Tribal and Non-Tribal providers.
Will be required to conduct and host trainings two weekends a month, and in the evenings during weekdays to ensure services are provided based on community needs.
Required to pass a pre-employment background check.
Required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Yakama Nation Driving Permit.
