Position Summary
Assists lead teacher in implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children.
Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
12 college credits (State Initial ECE Certificate) required by August 2024.
Previous experience working with children required.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Washington State (DOH) Food Handler’s card required.
STARS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
Required to complete a TB Test every year as well as BBP/HIV training.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

The starting pay for this position is $15.
74 and the pay scale is $15.
74 - $21.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
