We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong hospitality background to be our new manager.
This position will require a positive attitude, teamwork, organization, and leadership.
This 30 room property is located in Lewis County.
If you're looking for a slower paced town, look no further than Packwood.
This property is seasonal and sees its greatest occupancy between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
General responsibilities include:
* Recruitment, hiring, training, and oversight of staff.
* Managing schedules
* Interaction with Housekeeping staff, Maintenance, and Front Desk
* Interaction with the Corporate Office
* Submission of reports and documents to Corporate
* Payroll reporting
* Inventory & ordering (Submitted to Corporate)
* General property upkeep - being aware of maintenance issues, working with Corporate on improvements, suggestions, etc.
* Guest management - checking guests in, out, handling customer service, accepting reservations by phone and in person
* Reconciliation with booking engines
* Payment processing - reservations, cancelations, fees, and charges applicable to guest stays
Qualified Candidates will:
* Have previous hospitality experience
* Have managerial experience including oversight of personnel
* Understand property management systems
* Be able to communicate in writing, in person, and by phone in English
* Be professional in demeanor and attitude
