Working Lead

Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all employees in the department with respect to training, following company policies and procedures, safety and environmental regulations and producing quality products within allowable standard hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work with new employees during their first weeks of work to ensure they are performing their duties as required Able to carry out instructions from the Supervisor/Manager; able to communicate instructions clearly and accurately with subordinates Complete schedules daily to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time shipping Run department efficiently by meeting labor standards; monitor overtime and other measurements Build product to meet specifications and customer requirements; ensuring expected quality levels Maintain a safe work environment; ensure all of department employees wear the correct PPE Ensure supplies issued are in quantities needed and are not overused Strive to continuously improve Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred, or equivalent knowledge and job experience.
