Shipping Manager (Swing Shift)

This position is a swing shift role that will work directly with the company’s shipping and warehouse department, they will report to the Logistics Manager and have the following, but not limited responsibilities:
*Job Responsibilities*:
* Assist with managing daily outbound shipments
* Understand and execute all shipping procedures
* Collaborate with the Day Shift Shipping Manager to standardize the shipping process
* Communicate and work with the sales and marketing team to achieve customer shipping requirements and shipping instructions
* Communicate and work with a network of shipping facilities in the region
* Lead and manage a shipping crew made up of office clerks, warehouse and shipping dock personnel
* Accountable for the training, development, and retention of shipping personnel
* Collaborate with production and repack management to improve efficiencies within the company
* Coordinate and implement employee schedules to achieve the daily required shipping tasks
* Work with and communicate with the WSDA on documentation requirements
* Collaborate and work with the Logistics Project Manager to gain efficiencies within the shipping department
* Must be a team player and able to work cohesively within group setting
* Morning, Evening and Late shifts Open 7am – close (depending on season)
* Must follow instructions from Company Managers and Supervisors.
* Must be able to follow all safety and operational standards in place by Monson Fruit
*Preferred Skills*
* Ability to navigate a computer.
* *Excel, Power Point, Microsoft, Outlook experience*
* Learn AS400 programs – review order entry, data input process
WSDA /Federal Website Data Entry – compliance, creating (pcit) applications.
Phone System – Answer questions, transfer calls, call truck drivers
Verifying Federal/state export documents - proof reading
* Able to analyze data and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills to streamline efficiencies.
* Able to work and collaborate in a team
* Able to multitask
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.
00 - $75,000.
