Job Summary:
Hyundai of Yakima is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, cash handling, and sales.
As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians and support staff
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely completion of service requests
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and inventory
- Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote automotive services and increase sales revenue
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including air brakes, transmissions, and alignment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
