Position Summary:
This position performs within the Provider Services leadership team to support the development, coordination and implementation of Professional Development opportunities to Early Learning Professionals.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Provider Services Leadership Team to ensure that all Early Learning Training needs are met within assigned contracts.
Advocate at the state and local level for professional development opportunities that support the cultural and linguistic needs of all Early Learning Providers within the Central Region.
Participates in the state and local meetings as assigned to convey and gather information necessary to effectively partner and maintain relevance in Early Learning field
Maintain appropriate level of Washington State approved trainers employed or affiliated with Child Care Aware of Central Washington.
Ensure that WA State approved trainers are supervised and mentored to increase their competency and effectiveness.
Develop opportunities to support continuous professional development for trainers
In collaboration with Leadership Team Members, create and monitor professional development plans for identified staff
Provide technical assistance to trainers with virtual platforms such as zoom, schoology, CeCi, etc
In partnership with the Early Learning Professional Development Program Manager develop annual training calendars for all assigned Early Learning Programs.
Maintain/oversee in-house training registration system.
Participate as a member of the Early Learning Department Leadership Team
Participate in supervision with the Early Learning Professional Development Program Manager
Obtain Train the Trainer Levels within various curriculums as outlined by DCYF/CCA to support ongoing series deliveries to meet contract deliverables.
Deliver trainings to Early Learning Educators, as assigned, as a State Approved Trainer to support contract deliverable requirements
Develop Curriculum to meet the professional development needs of Early Learning Professionals.
Support translation of available curriculums to support implementation/delivery of professional development opportunities for Spanish Speaking Early Learning Providers.

Non-Physical Requirements:
Education
AA DegreeEarly Childhood Education, Education, Human Services or related field required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
3 years experience with an Associate’s Degree
Special Skills
Bilingual English/Spanish proficient in reading and writing in Spanish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understands Adult Learning Principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work with diverse population
Ability to collaborate with key partners
Ability to navigate and utilize virtual training platforms, such as zoom.
Knowledge of child care and early learning systems within Washington State
Knowledge of community resources and referral options for early learning providers
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Valid Washington State Driver’s License and required minimum liability insurance for WA State
Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities’ liability insurance provider
Compliance with TB testing, Department of Early Learning background check, Washington State Patrol clearance and fingerprinting when appropriate, and any vaccination requirements
