What the Role Delivers This role is a critical component in support of the company’s ambitious growth plan that spans multiple corporate metrics such as sales, revenue, profit, and market share.
As a member of the Commercial Operations team, we will look for you to promote operational excellence and drive consistency across sales strategy and execution.
The Commercial Operations team mission is to enable data-driven decisions and operationalize strategic programs that drive sales growth and sales effectiveness.
You will partner with the commercial organization to lead strategic programs related to sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales performance analytics, technology and support day-to-day activities of the team.
You will also have the freedom of developing ad-hoc reports and processes to assist the commercial team in understanding how their performance directly impacts the health of the organization.
This is a critical execution role that will suit a versatile candidate experienced in coordinating, supporting, and participating in commercial programs.
Key Responsibilities In order of relative importance Partnering with the North America Commercial Director to provide insights into the performance of their respective business.
Communicating those results back to corporate Reporting sales performance to internal management and members of the commercial team Maintaining KPI’s for the respective region Revenue forecasting and consistent contact with commercial team members to understand market metrics and performance Develop and lead regional updates monthly, which includes updates on latest forecast and the financial impact it has on the business, collaborating with Operations on S&OP processes, overview of KPI’s, etc.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the CRM system and use the information within the system to drive field force effectiveness.
Assist other members of the team and across departments on using the system as needed Lead the Operating Plan development and budget process to clearly define the opportunities in our business through market insights, setting strategy aligned to the insights and outlining tactics to support profitable growth Develop an understanding of reporting tools such as Power BI, BPC, SalesForce, etc.
to promote automation of standard reporting packages used for internal meetings.
