What are we looking for in a Therapist? Therapists at Comprehensive utilize evidence-based practices to provide clients and their families with support in learning new skills and connecting to community resources.
Counseling and skill development may be provided through individual or group sessions, depending on need.
Therapist positions require excellent listening and communication skills, as well as a desire to collaborate to assist each client with reaching his or her recovery goals.
Clinical supervision and training in evidence-based practices are provided as part of this position.
This Therapist position is part of our adult outpatient team in Yakima, which serves clients aged 18 years and older.
The Therapist will support individuals with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, including some individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders, whose ages range from young adults to seniors.
No travel is required for this position since all clients appointments occur at our outpatient clinic in Yakima, and a standard Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work shift is expected.
