Solarity Credit Union is seeking a Financial Analyst - Yakima, Kittitas county local preferred.
Will consider remote applicants who reside in WA, OR, and ID.
Financial Analysts participant in improving the financial position of the credit union by analyzing the financial results, past and present, monitoring variances, identifying trends, estimating future revenues and expenses, and recommending improvements to management.
Proficient in data gathering and reporting through consolidating and analyzing financial data, considering the credit unions goals and financial standing, provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

As a Financial Analyst, your typical day may include the following: As you sip your morning beverage of choice, you will prioritize your assignments and other financial reporting items that may be coming due.
YOU get to plan your day! You attend morning huddles several days per week with your department to discuss the weekly workload, plans for success or gain support for any hurdles you face.
Depending on the day and team needs, you may be Effectively prepare, maintains, and reports internal and external financial records and analyses.
Responsible for asset liability management (ALM) reporting and modeling.
Develop, maintain, and perform profitability reporting and management to support core business objectives.
Monitor and report on liquidity and investments in accordance with business model objectives.
Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts that will allow management to make informed decisions to secure the financial viability and vitality of Solarity Credit Union through various iterations of the business structure and cycle that will sustain long term objectives.
Prepare and present comprehensive variance analysis for all material variances to budgeted operating results.
Ensure forecast assumptions remain supportable through robust lookback analysis while serving as subject matter expert in completion of quarterly interest rate risk assessments of the organization's balance sheet.
Develop and publish ongoing product and member profitability analysis for use in product development and targeted member services programs.
Prepare regular peer to peer reporting for management and the board of directors.
