*Overview:* Our Senior Accountant role is suited for an individual willing to grow with us.
To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant must possess the ability to conduct a wide variety of intricate and complex accounting duties and projects.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role is savvy in Excel, has excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills, and is able to create and maintain a team-oriented environment and work well with others.
The Senior Accountant also possesses the ability to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements, completes assignments with deadlines and due dates and has strong integrity and ethics.
This position is responsible for accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliation, general ledger management, fixed asset management, balance sheet preparation and maintenance.

Interested in joining our rapidly growing organization? Reporting to the Plant Controller, the *Senior Accountant responsibilities *include*:* * Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
* Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
* Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
* Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
* Review and analyze financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results.
* Create timely and accurate accounting reports and present them to company's executives and senior management.
* Develop recommendations to optimize company's accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies.
* Take part in forecasting and financial standards setting processes.
* Participate in department’s goal setting activities, month-end, and year-end close processes.
* Organize financial statements and budget preparation with accuracy and timeliness.
* Support business process and accounting policies and prepare corresponding documentation.
* Ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements.
*Senior Accountant requirements are:* * 5+ years' experience of working as an Accountant, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
* Experienced with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
* Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Practical experience with accounting software packages.
* Knowledge of financial accounting statements and business trends.
* Excellent understanding of MS Office٫ especially Excel.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills; experienced at presenting financial reports to leadership teams.
* BS degree in Accounting٫ Finance is a requirement; a certification such as CMA or CPA is preferred.
