Professional Time Type: Full time Position Term: 10 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Provides clinical skills guidance to prelicensure nursing students in the clinical performance laboratory.
Preceptors provide basic skills instruction and assessment of critical thinking and psychomotor skills development needed to intervene safely and competently in the clinical care of individuals and families.
This position is located in Yakima, WA.
Essential Duties: Practice Lab Coordination/ Supervision - 50% Laboratory and Equipment Maintenance - 20% Faculty Assistance - 15% Simulation - 10% Other - 5% Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years experience directly relating to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Additional Requirements: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in State of Washington, or ability to obtain licensure by time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: One year acute care experience.
Experience teaching or precepting.
