Astria Ambulatory Care is designed to meet the changing lifestyles and diverse needs of those living and working throughout the region.
Experience: One year of experience relevant to the clinical setting applied for which involved direct patient care is preferred.
Education: High School education or equivalent; the ability to read, write, and converse in the English language; and adequate physical ability, including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite health care services.
Currently enrolled in nursing program

Demonstrates ability to take direction from RN and seek assistance appropriately.
Demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic body mechanics.
Demonstrates ability to function and or communicate under stress and maintain professional behavior.
Demonstrates positive customer service orientation toward patient, family, physician, clients, and co-workers.
Licenses/Registrations/Certifications: Must maintain current BLS Certification.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work requires regular and recurring physical exertion such as standing or walking for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, stooping, crouching and stretching required during the normal course of the day.
The employee must exert 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects and must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Requires frequent repetitive hand/wrist motions and finger manipulation.
Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
The work involves recurring exposure to moderate risks which require special safety and health precautions and the use of Personal Protective Equipment; risks such as exposure to contagious diseases, contaminated bodily fluids, sharp instruments, and other contaminants.
