Dental Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing patient assessments, maintaining aseptic techniques, taking X-rays, managing medical records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental X-rays - Perform patient assessments including blood pressure measurements and oral health evaluations - Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Manage and update patient medical records - Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Order and maintain dental supplies Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Current certification in dental assisting a plus, but not required - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in taking dental X-rays - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to work well in a team environment Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
