Adult Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat injury conditions, as well as promote good health practices as it relates to those injured on the job.
You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives.
*Living in an underserved area, we are the clinic that really sees people and hears people.
* As a Nurse Practitioner, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals and employers as well as supportive staff.
You will have enough time to establish a relationship with your patients.
This is not a herd them in and herd them out medical setting.
Our clinic is a family friendly multidisciplinary environment with a Chiropractor and 2 Medical Massage Therapist on site.

* *Responsibilities* *Responsibilities* * Examine patients and their medical records * Perform/Review and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.
) * Diagnose health conditions related to injuries * Propose treatments to best help patients recover from work related injures * Prescribe medications * Maintain accurate records and schedules * Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications * Educate patients and their family members on how to participate in their recovery * Promote good health practices * Advance professional knowledge.
*Requirements* * Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting preferred but not required.
* Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices * Knowledge of health and patient care regulations * Excellent communication skills * Strong ethics * Team spirit with a positive attitude * Patience and cool-headedness * Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience * Valid nurse practitioner license * Willingness to help build the practice within the community Job Types: Local contract, Locum tenens, Temporary, Temp-to-hire Pay: $65.
