Certified Pharmacy Technician

``` Duties: - Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to customers or healthcare professionals - Measure medication quantities accurately and package them appropriately - Label and record dosage information on prescription containers - Prepare IV medications and other sterile products under the supervision of a pharmacist - Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications - Answer customer questions and provide information on medication usage and side effects - Process insurance claims and manage inventory of medications and supplies Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices - Experience working as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting - Proficient in medication administration, including IV infusion and inhalation techniques - Familiarity with aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and packaging medications - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
