Front Receptionist for Chiropractic Clinic (Zillah)

Seeking to add a full time medical front office receptionist for our busy chiropractic clinic.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, motivated, and work well in a team environment.
Candidates must be able to learn quickly, be very detail oriented, have excellent written & verbal communication skills & maintain composure during stressful situations.
Our valuable front office staff is our patient’s first impression of our clinic! WAGES: DOE ESSENTIAL FUCTIONS: 1\.
Check and Varify Insurance 2\.
Checking patients in/out 3\.
Scheduling appointments 4\.
Answering multi-line phones 5\.
Processing records requests 6\.
Collecting copays & past due balances 7\.
Verifying demographic & insurance information 8\.
Prepping charts 9\.
Assist with follow up & scheduling inbound referrals 10\.
Scan documents into patient charts 11\.
Other duties as assigned IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE: • Comfortable asking for and collecting Copays or payments for bills • Excellent verbal and written skills to ensure effective communication with patients, family members and the healthcare community • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Excellent attention to detail to review referrals and patient information, ensuring accurate scheduling of appointments • Excellent organization skills and time management • Comprehension of basic medical terminology • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment EDUCATION: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
