Temp Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history - Take dental x-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as required - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining aseptic technique - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Qualifications: - Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding related to dental procedures - Strong understanding of dental office procedures and protocols - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well with patients of all ages and backgrounds - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
