MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH) is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team of two Psychiatrists and two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in our 18-bed medical/psychiatric unit.
Our mission is to serve patients from around the Pacific Northwest with complex medical and psychiatric presentations.
MYMH is home to the only med/psych unit outside of King County in WA State, making our work unit vital to the entire region.
The duties of our Psychiatrists include rounding, treatment planning, admission screening, and consultations.

Practice Details include: • Treatment planning rounds daily with nursing, social work, leadership and community providers • New patient review and admission • Psychiatric consults on the medical floors to include medication recommendations, psychiatric evaluations, and guidance re: navigation of psychiatric services • Occasional attendance at contested hearings held onsite for involuntary patients MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital As the region’s leading health care provider and Yakima’s largest employer, we believe that by improving health, we will transform Yakima!
