Position Summary
The Imaging Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of pediatric and adult patients for all Imaging outpatient services and procedures.
This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment.
Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with sympathy, respect and understanding.
Contacts include patients, families and referring physicians and their office staff, Radiologists, Nursing, and all Imaging Modality Technologists.
Requirements
Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred
Medical Terminology certification preferred
Experience in a medical setting, preferably in imaging and scheduling exp a plus
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with EMR or RIS

Pay and Benefit Expectations

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.
The pay scale is $16.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
