Position Overview:
CHCW has an opening for a Coder/Charge Entry Specialist to capture and ensure accurate claims are created and submitted to third party payers in accordance with timely filing deadlines.
You will be responsible to code encounters, post charges, and register new hospital patients while supporting the patient account team and management.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will have HS Diploma/GED and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required.
Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred, and a plus!
Pre-employment drug screen required.
